KindergartenWe are offering three different Kindergarten options for the school year to fit our student’s needs.
Kindergarten (5 & 6 year old)
Our Kindergarten program will leap to new heights this year. The sky is the limit for our curious adventurers as they benefit from our Montessori based curriculum which exceeds state standard and allows the students to progress at their own pace. Our Kindergarteners will jump right into the heat of reading, math, science and social studies.
Our students will also have weekly specials such as; Spanish instruction, computers, fine arts (music and art class) and physical education.
Extended Curriculum
Our Kindergarten students will have one field trip a quarter (four over the school year). These field trips will be educational based and parent volunteers will be necessary. They will also host our first annual Science Fair, Economics Fair, and once a month help run our school store.
Our Extended Day and Full Day programs allow the students to have a lunch (12 pm) and afternoon snack time (2:30 pm). There will be no nap time for the Kindergarten students, but we will provide a 20 min. quiet time right after lunch for our students to have a chance for rest and relaxation.

We believe that experiencing our campus, community, and classes in action, and having an opportunity to ask questions are the best ways to learn about FDMA.
Parent Tours
Tours are designed for parents and are scheduled during the school day to allow you to make valuable observations about our school community, learning environment, and philosophy.
Tours last approximately 30 minutes and are scheduled between 9:00 am – 11:30 am. A typical tour begins with a brief discussion of what type of care you are interested in for your child (either part time or full time), a visit to classroom for the age group you are looking at, and a discussion about future grades at FDMA. There are many opportunities to ask questions.
