The admissions process at First Discoveries Montessori Academy is designed to acquaint parents with the Montessori philosophy and the superior learning opportunities uniquely available at First Discoveries.

Before submitting an application, parents are invited and encouraged to visit First Discoveries.  This is an opportunity for them to tour the campus and observe the classrooms in session.  Please call to schedule a tour.  Children do not attend the initial school visit so that full attention can be given to parents and their questions.

To apply, a parent must fill out an application, child assessment form, and pay the non-refundable application fee. Once application has been made, a second visit is scheduled.  At this time, parents bring their child for an informal visit in the classroom.

The Director will notify the parents of their child’s admission status.  Qualified siblings of children already enrolled in the school, children of faculty and staff, and children previously enrolled in a Montessori school are given preference in admission.  Students placed on the waiting list are eligible to enroll as space becomes available.
